The gas laboratory

When we talk about molecules of gas in the water, we call it "dissolved gas". In the following virtual laboratory experiments, you are going to change some variables and see how these changes affect the amount of gas in the water. When the gas solubility goes down, some gas will leave the water as bubbles. Remember, when you see more gas bubbles leave the water, there will be less gas left in the water!

You will find lab questions as well as lab instructions within the laboratory. Before entering the lab you should watch the following two movies, they will help you understand the meaning of gas solubility.
